Internet Access for Families with Students at Home
Learn From Home Initiative
**UPDATED August 10, 2020**
We understand that families are facing many challenges as they prepare for the return to school this fall, and we believe internet access shouldn't be one of them. That is why we are bringing back our Learn From Home Initiative to quickly connect families with school aged students at home to our high speed internet service for the 2020-2021 school year.
“Many have been forced to rely on the internet more to stay connected and we are offering our learn from home initiative to help students who previously did not have access to continue their studies” said Mark Masenheimer, Vice President of Operations.
We are offering up to 10mbps service free for two months. This includes modem, eero Pro WiFi, free self-installation, and no contract.
Families without Internet with students at home have until December 31st to sign up. After the free period expires, customers would need to contact us to disconnect service or standard promotional rates will go into effect for the remaining duration of the 12-month term.
Promoting Learning at Home
As parents and teachers prepare to return to learn, we want to remind everyone that PBS39 Extra, Channel 124, has educational content in 2.5 hour blocks for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
In addition, check out their free online distance learning resources. This website offers a variety of digital learning tools for children ages Pre-K through high school, curated by the Education Team at PBS39. Educators and Parents can find valuable resources to help children continue to learn while at home.
This year has reminded us just how important our role is to the communities we serve. Providing reliable internet and WiFi service to families so they can stay connected to the things they need, and the people the love, remains our priority.
